I have found a new device that has made my drinking from my Nalgene bottle so much better!
Nalgene bottles typically come in a narrow and wide mouth style. For me, it is easier to drink from the narrow mouth bottles - no drips. But, harder to clean which is why I switched to wide mouth bottles. For me though the trouble with wide mouth bottles was that I couldn't seem to drink out of them, without dripping water. It was especially challenging when I was with my husband, in his car and he would hit the gas - causing me to splash water and drip. Aggravating.
Then, I was at REI and I noticed this thing called a
Splashguard. It's made by Guyot Designs and comes in a zillion colors. It fits snug on the mouth of the bottle - and allows you to sip from it with no drips, no mess! It's made of silicone and will probably outlast me.
